The first page you see
Overview — the top item in the sidebar — is your command center: what needs attention, how today's routes are going, where the money stands, and how the business is trending. Everything updates live, and nearly every card is a link to the page where you act on it.
Brand new account? Until your first route exists, the Overview leads with a guided setup experience instead, and empty stats stay hidden. This article describes the day-to-day view once you're up and running.
The attention banner
At the top, amber chips appear for anything waiting on you — a chip only shows when its count is above zero, so a clean day means no banner at all. Each chip links straight to the queue it counts:
- Service Requests — unread customer requests, in the inbox.
- Open Alerts — unresolved technician alerts.
- Field WOs Pending Review — work orders your techs created in the field, awaiting office approval.
- Uninvoiced Work Orders — completed work orders with no invoice yet.
- Quotes Need Action — quotes waiting on a next step.
- New Leads — fresh leads to follow up.
- Unscheduled Maintenance — maintenance jobs not on any route.
- Low Stock Parts — parts at or below their low-stock threshold.
- Route Optimizations — routes with a pending optimization suggestion.
Today's Schedule
A live card per route running today, with a "X/Y routes done" tally in the header. Each card shows the technician, the route name, a progress bar with completed vs. total stops, and a status badge: Not Started (amber), In Progress (green, with a pulsing dot and elapsed time), Completed (blue), or Abandoned (red) — plus Unassigned if no tech is on it. Click a route that's underway to jump to the live Field Operations view; otherwise the card opens the route's page.
The Command Center row
- Outstanding — total unpaid invoice balance, with open and draft counts. Clicks through to open invoices.
- Overdue — the past-due amount and how many invoices are behind. Clicks through to overdue invoices.
- Quote Pipeline — pending quotes, broken into draft, sent, and accepted counts.
- Satisfaction (30d) — your thumbs-up percentage from customer job feedback over the last 30 days, with the vote count.
- Tomorrow — tomorrow's route and stop counts, flagging any unassigned routes so you can fix them tonight.
Today, Last 7 Days, and Last 30 Days
Below the Command Center, three tabs change the time window. Each tab also includes a Technician Performance section for the same period.
- Today — expected vs. actual: Stops (done / expected), Routes, Expected Revenue, and Earned Revenue, plus a cost row of Chemical, Parts, Labor, and Total Cost.
- Last 7 Days — Jobs Completed, Completion Rate, Skipped Stops, and Est. Revenue, plus the Revenue Trend chart: a 14-day area chart of daily earned revenue.
- Last 30 Days — Maintenance Jobs, Maintenance Revenue, Work Orders, Work Order Revenue, Invoiced Amount, Collected Amount, Active Customers, and Active Employees, plus two charts.
The 30-day charts
- Maintenance vs Work Orders — side-by-side bars comparing the two job types across Revenue, Chemicals, Parts, and Labor. Hover the Labor bars to see hours alongside dollars.
- Collection Health — an invoice-aging chart with a bar per bucket: Current, 1-30 days, 31-60 days, and 60+ days overdue, colored green to red. Hover a bar for the dollar amount and invoice count. Money drifting into the right-hand buckets is your cue to chase — see managing invoices.
The "Finish setting up" checklist
Once your first route exists, a compact Finish setting up card tracks what's left. Core steps are the critical path and can't be skipped: Import your customers, Create your first job, Build a route, Set your schedule & add techs, and Connect Stripe.
An expandable "optional steps" section holds the nice-to-haves, each with its own button and a Skip option: add pool details, vehicles, chemicals, parts, task templates, task groups, service reports, your email domain, and branding. The card disappears for good once every core step is done and every optional step is done or skipped.
Frequently asked questions
Why is a chip missing from my attention banner?
Chips only appear when their count is above zero. No banner at all means nothing is waiting on you — that's the goal.
Where do the revenue numbers come from?
From your completed visits and their job rates, with costs from logged chemicals, parts, and labor. Today's tab splits Expected Revenue (everything scheduled) from Earned Revenue (what's actually been completed so far).
How do I make the setup checklist go away?
Complete the five core steps, then finish or Skip each optional step. Once everything is done or skipped, the card is gone for good.
