Your personal settings live on the Account screen
The Account screen holds each technician's personal preferences — which maps app opens for navigation, how job checklists are displayed, notification settings, and sign out. Settings here are per-person: every tech on the team can set their own.
For most companies, Account is the rightmost tab in the bottom bar. If your company has a business phone line, the Comms tab takes that slot and Account moves to the person icon in the top-right of the header instead.
What's on the screen
The top card shows your name, role (Administrator or Technician), email, and phone — read-only; an admin edits these from the web dashboard. Below it, in order:
- Map Provider — which maps app opens for navigation.
- Task View — how the visit-completion checklist is laid out.
- Forward Your Calls — send missed calls to the AI front desk (only shown with the phone-management permission).
- Share Prompt — toggle the post-completion "Share Your Work" prompt.
- Push Notifications and Quiet Hours toggles.
- Sign Out — signs you out immediately (no confirmation prompt).
Map Provider
Tap Map Provider to choose which app opens whenever you navigate to a stop: Default, Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. "Default" uses your platform's standard — Apple Maps on iPhone, Google Maps on Android. The choice applies to every navigate button in the app: stop cards, job details, unplanned stops, and open stops.
Task View: three ways to see the checklist
Tap Task View to pick how the Complete Job screen presents the checklist:
- Guided (Step-by-Step) — the default. One task at a time with navigation: swipe or tap Next/Back through each task, with a review step at the end. Required tasks block moving forward until done.
- All Tasks (Scrollable) — see all tasks on one screen, as one long scrolling form.
- Compact (Dense Rows) — tight single-line rows for every task; the fastest layout for experienced techs.
This is a personal preference — each technician picks their own. One exception: editing an already-completed visit always opens in the Compact layout regardless of your setting. See complete a visit for how each mode behaves in the flow.
Forward Your Calls
For companies with the AI front desk, Forward Your Calls sets up your personal cell so missed calls go to the assistant. Pick your carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, or Other) and the screen shows dial codes for three setups: "When you don't answer" (recommended), "Every call", and "Turn forwarding off" — each with a Dial button that opens your phone's dialer with the code filled in. There's also a troubleshooting card for calls that keep going to voicemail (including iPhone Live Voicemail).
This entry only appears for users with the phone-management permission. If your company has no business number yet, the screen points you to the web dashboard (Communication → Phone) to pick one first.
Share Prompt, notifications, and quiet hours
- Share Prompt ("Show after completing stops") — controls the "Stop Complete!" prompt that offers to build a shareable before/after card after each visit. On by default; tapping "Don't show this again" on the prompt itself flips this same toggle off, and you can turn it back on here. See complete a visit.
- Push Notifications ("Route changes, reminders & alerts") — master switch for pushes to this phone. On by default.
- Quiet Hours — off by default. Turning it on pauses pushes overnight, 9pm – 7am in your company's timezone (the times are fixed on mobile). Critical alerts still come through. Notification categories and email preferences are managed on the web — see notification settings.
The notifications feed
The bell icon in the header (on the Route, Stops, Routes, Map, and Account screens) shows an unread count and opens your notification history. Unread items are highlighted with a blue dot, high-priority ones carry a HIGH or CRITICAL badge, and a Mark all read button appears whenever something is unread. Tapping a notification jumps straight to the thing it's about — the route, job, invoice, alert, or conversation.
Report an issue to the office
The Report an Issue row on the Route tab opens a form to flag problems from the field — equipment failures, safety concerns, anything the office should know about. When you're at a stop, the customer and location are pre-filled.
- Customer & Location — optional. Pick a customer and one of their locations, or leave it blank for a general issue.
- Issue Title — required. A brief summary.
- Description — required. The details.
- Photos — optional, up to 5, from camera or gallery.
Tap Submit Issue and every administrator gets a high-priority notification. Reporting works offline too — the issue is saved on the phone and submitted when you're back online. Admins work the queue in technician alerts.
Frequently asked questions
Why don't I see an Account tab at the bottom?
When your company has a business phone line, the Comms tab takes the last slot in the bottom bar. Account moves to the person icon in the top-right corner of the header — same screen, different door.
Can I change the quiet hours times?
Not on mobile — the toggle pauses pushes on a fixed overnight window, 9pm to 7am in your company's timezone. Critical alerts always come through regardless.
Why don't I see Forward Your Calls?
It only appears for users with the phone-management permission. Most companies keep front-desk configuration with owners and admins.
Do my settings affect my teammates?
No. Map Provider, Task View, Share Prompt, and notification toggles are all per-person — every technician sets their own.
