The Email Your Customers Actually Read, Now With More Proof
The service report is the one message most customers open after every visit. We have shipped a batch of upgrades that make it prove more, ask for more, and reach more of your accounts, without adding a single step to the technician's day.
Everything below is configured on the Service Reports page, reached from the Customer Communications dashboard. Save your defaults once and every completed job follows them.
Arrival and Departure Times
Service reports can now include a Visit Time section showing when the technician actually arrived and left. The times come straight from the route stop, so there is nothing to type, and any admin time correction is respected.
This is a new toggle labeled Arrival & departure times in your default sections, off by default, so nothing changes until you turn it on. Some owners want to show customers how long the crew was on site; others would rather not invite that conversation.
A timestamped "Arrived 9:14 AM, Departed 9:41 AM" is quiet, credible proof that someone was at the pool, which is exactly the doubt a service report exists to answer.
Photos Attached to the Task That Earned Them
When a technician takes a photo against a specific task, such as a required before-service shot, that photo now renders as a thumbnail directly beneath the task in the email instead of being dropped into one anonymous gallery. The customer sees the picture next to the work it documents.
Photos that belong to a task are pulled out of the general Photos gallery, so nothing shows up twice. If you hide the tasks section on a report, those photos fall back into the gallery as before, so no image is ever lost.
Turn a Happy Visit Into a Review
A satisfied customer reading a clean report is the best possible moment to ask for a review. You can now add your review profiles to the report and they appear as branded buttons at the bottom of the email.
Add one or several links from the Review Links card on the Service Reports page. Supported platforms are Google, Facebook, Yelp, Nextdoor, and Thumbtack, plus an Other option for any custom link with your own label. Customers tap through straight to the page where they can leave a review.
Copy Yourself, Resend, and Send From Work Orders
A few workflow changes make reports easier to keep an eye on and easier to send:
- Cc your company. Turn on "Cc me on service reports" and every report, automatic or resent by hand, copies an address you choose. Leave it blank to use your account email. Customers see it on the Cc line, so keep that in mind if you would rather it stayed internal.
- Resend from the completed job. The Send Report button now lives on the completed-job page too, so you can preview and re-send a report without hunting for the right screen.
- Service reports for work orders. On the web work order form, check "Send service report email to customer after completion" and use the customize panel to pick the sections. Repairs and one-time jobs get the same polished follow-up as recurring maintenance.
- The same toggle in the field. The mobile Create Work Order screen has a "Send service report email" switch, off by default, below Notes. It works for both Create Work Order and Create & Schedule.

Where do I turn on arrival and departure times?
Open the Service Reports page from the Customer Communications dashboard and turn on the "Arrival & departure times" toggle. It is off by default, and the times are pulled from the route stop, including any admin correction, so technicians enter nothing.
Will a task photo show up twice in the email?
No. A photo attached to a task renders under that task and is removed from the general Photos gallery, so it appears once. If you hide the tasks section on a report, those photos fall back into the gallery instead.
Which review sites can I link in a report?
Google, Facebook, Yelp, Nextdoor, and Thumbtack, plus an Other option for a custom link with your own label. Add them from the Review Links card on the Service Reports page and they appear as buttons in the email.
Can work orders send service reports now?
Yes. Turn it on per job with the "Send service report email" option on the web work order form or the mobile Create Work Order screen. It is off by default, and the web form lets you choose which sections are included.
