The First Thing You Check, All in One Place
The Overview page is the first thing most owners open every morning. We have rebuilt it so that page answers the questions you actually have when you log in: Who is out today and how far along are they? What needs my attention right now? How is the quote pipeline looking? And are my customers happy?
Instead of clicking through half a dozen pages to piece together the state of the business, you now get today's schedule, an attention banner, financial snapshot cards, a quote pipeline, a customer satisfaction score, and a preview of tomorrow, all on the page you land on first.
What the Overview Now Surfaces
The Overview page pulls together the signals owners and office managers check most often:
- Today's Schedule - every route running today with its technician, status, and stop progress.
- Attention banner - quick chips for anything waiting on you, such as service requests, open alerts, quotes needing action, and low stock parts.
- Outstanding and Overdue - what you are owed and what is past due, each linking straight into the matching invoice list.
- Quote Pipeline - draft, sent, and accepted quote counts at a glance.
- Satisfaction (30d) - a rolling customer satisfaction score built from service report feedback.
- Tomorrow - a preview of tomorrow's routes and stops, with a warning if any are unassigned.
The familiar Today, Last 7 Days, and Last 30 Days metric tabs are still there below, so revenue, costs, and technician performance are one click away when you want to dig deeper.
Today's Schedule at a Glance
Today's Schedule shows one card per route scheduled for the day. Each card names the technician and route, marks it as Not Started, In Progress, or Completed, and shows a progress bar with the completed and total stop count. Routes already underway show how long the tech has been out, and a counter at the top tells you how many routes are done out of the total.
The cards are sorted so routes that have not started yet come first, because those are the ones most likely to need a nudge. Click any card to jump straight into that route or into Field Operations to watch it live.
The attention banner only shows chips for things that actually need action. On a quiet morning it stays out of your way; on a busy one it becomes a to-do list that links directly to the page where you can clear each item.
Customer Satisfaction and Feedback Comments
The Overview now includes a customer satisfaction score. It is a rolling 30-day figure: the share of thumbs-up responses out of all the feedback customers left, shown alongside the number of votes so you know how much it is based on. The number is color-coded so a dip is easy to spot at a glance.
That feedback comes from the thumbs-up and thumbs-down buttons at the bottom of your automated service report emails. When a customer taps one and confirms, we record the vote, and the thank-you page then invites them to add an optional comment about what went well or what could be better.
Those comments are no longer hidden away. Open a job's detail page and, once a customer has responded, a Customer Feedback section shows the thumbs-up and thumbs-down totals for that job along with every comment left, color-coded green for positive and red for negative and stamped with the date. You get the number on the Overview and the story behind it on the job.
Why This Matters
A dashboard is only useful if it answers questions faster than opening the underlying pages would. The goal here was to make the Overview the single screen an owner can glance at between calls and know whether the day is on track, whether money is moving, and whether customers are happy, without hunting for any of it.
Because the satisfaction score and feedback comments feed directly off the service reports you already send after every visit, this works with no extra setup. Keep sending reports, and the signal builds on its own.

Where do I find the new overview?
It is the Overview page, the first item in the dashboard sidebar and the page you land on when you log in. Everything described here appears there automatically.
Where does the customer satisfaction score come from?
From the thumbs-up and thumbs-down feedback customers leave from your service report emails. The Overview shows the percentage of positive responses over a rolling 30-day window, along with how many votes it is based on.
How do customers leave a comment?
After a customer taps thumbs up or thumbs down in a service report email and confirms their choice, the thank-you page offers an optional box to add more detail. Their comment then appears in the Customer Feedback section on that job's detail page.
Do the attention items always show?
No. Each chip in the attention banner only appears when there is something waiting, such as an unread service request, a quote needing action, or parts running low. When everything is handled, the banner is empty.
