Run several companies as one organization

An organization groups several separate Pool Founder companies into markets (for example Georgia and Florida). The organization's Overview shows each market's customers, technicians, today's stops, revenue collected this month, and open quotes; open a market to see its companies, then open a company to work in it as yourself. Organizations are set up by Pool Founder support.

One organization, many companies

If you run pool service companies in more than one city or state, each location stays its own Pool Founder company, with its own team, customers, routes, invoices, and settings. An organization sits above them and groups them into markets, so you can see how every market and every company is doing from one place and hop into any of them without signing in again.

The organization's Overview

If you are an owner or administrator of the organization, Overview in the sidebar shows your markets instead of a single company's dashboard.

  • The top card shows the organization and how many markets and companies it has.
  • Below it are the organization totals: Customers, Technicians, Stops today (done out of scheduled), Collected this month, and Open quotes (draft and sent quote value).
  • Each market has a card with the same numbers for its companies and the names of the companies in it.

Click a market to open it: its totals and a card per company with that company's numbers. The trail at the top reads your organization, then the market.

Open a company

Click Open on a company to work in it. The whole dashboard switches to that company: its customers, routes, schedule, invoices, and settings, with full access. You are still you; the change history records you, not the company's owner.

A banner at the top says which company you are viewing. Click Back to markets in the banner to return to the organization's Overview.

Switching into a company also switches your technician app to it, because the switch belongs to your login. Click Back to markets first if you are about to run your own route.

What organizations do not do yet

  • You can't create an organization, add a company to it, or change which market a company is in yourself yet. Pool Founder support sets organizations up: contact support.
  • There is no combined customer list, schedule, or invoice list across companies. Open a company to see its own.
  • Each company keeps its own settings, prices, and billing. Changing one company does not change the others.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run several locations or companies in different states from one account?

Yes. Each location stays its own company, and an organization groups them into markets (for example Georgia and Florida). The organization's Overview shows each market's customers, technicians, stops today, revenue this month, and open quotes; open a market to see its companies and click Open to work in one. Contact Pool Founder support to set up an organization.

Do I have to sign in separately to each company?

No. As an owner or administrator of the organization, open a market on your Overview and click Open on a company to switch into it. Back to markets in the banner returns you.

Do the companies share customers, staff, or settings?

No. Each company has its own team, customers, routes, invoices, and settings. The organization only groups them and adds up their numbers.

Can I add a company or a market myself?

Not yet. Pool Founder support sets up organizations, their markets, and which companies belong to each.
